The Early Christian Baptistery chosen for the Campania Region's commercial
The Early Christian Baptistery was among the symbolic locations chosen for the new promotional spot of the Campania Region, produced as part of the “Campania Divina” campaign for the Regional Tourism Agency.
The video, designed to convey the deep soul of Campania in just a few moments, intertwines natural landscapes, millenary historical evidence, UNESCO-recognized sites, identity traditions, and food and wine culture, offering an authentic and welcoming image of the region, from the Apennine hinterland to the sea.
The spot also includes a few seconds dedicated to the Early Christian Baptistery, placed within a visual narrative that brings together the different eras and civilizations that have shaped the Campania territory. A brief but meaningful presence, which highlights the historical, artistic, and spiritual value of the monument in the context of the region's cultural heritage.
Shot in numerous locations across Campania by an entirely Campanian team, the video features as its testimonial the Neapolitan actor and director Sergio Assisi, with the extraordinary participation of Peppe Barra and Marisa Laurito, and is accompanied by an original soundtrack by Maestro Angelo Cioffi, an integral part of the narrative.
The commercial will be broadcast on major television networks, at information points in train stations and airports, as well as at national and international tourism fairs, helping to promote the cultural and identity heritage of Campania worldwide, of which the Paleochristian Baptistery is a precious expression.
In short, another recognition for our wonderful monument after having been featured in the Vatican City nativity scene, the cradle of our Christianity.
